Watch SOLIDWORKS World 2016 from your desk!
Haven’t registered to watch SOLIDWORKS World 2016? Well, it’s your last chance to register for this premiere annual SOLIDWORKS conference, and the 2016 lineup is absolutely tremendous. The conference starts next week on January 31, 2016, and runs until February 3, 2016, in Dallas, Texas.
The general sessions stream live everyday from 8:30am–10:00 am Central Time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you register to watch SOLIDWORKS World 2016 live, then you can glean a lot of knowledge and insight from the key featured speakers, whose topics include embracing the future of innovation, re-imagining manufacturing approaches, and designing beyond “the status quo.”
Probably the most exciting part of the event for me is to hear from the millions of designers and engineers who use SOLIDWORKS (3 million users, to date!) and how they are creating innovative designs with this terrific software. The conference is the first place to hear from the Dassault leadership team about company and software updates, product announcements, customer highlights and a lot more.
On Monday, February 1, 2016, you can hear from Yves Behar, the Founder and Principal Designer of Fuseproject. Yves Behar has produced some of the new millennium’s most coveted objects, like the Leaf lamp, the Jawbone headset, and the XO laptop for One Laptop per Child. Also on Monday is Neil Gershenfeld, the Director of MIT’s Center for Bits and Atoms. He will speak about exploring the boundaries between the physical and digital world. Then on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, technology columnist David Pogue will interview and showcase designers who have created outstanding work with SOLIDWORKS. He is featuring everything from how to develop a space elevator to how to engineer your own beer! Should be a very interesting session! :)
