Does SOLIDWORKS Software Work on Windows 10?

If you’re wondering, does SOLIDWORKS software work on Windows 10, the answer is yep! Dassault has just released an important technical update on this very topic. As you may know, Microsoft is releasing Windows 10 on July 29, 2015. That’s just in a few weeks, hurray!

Does SOLIDWORKS software work on Windows 10?

• Dassault has these Windows 10 SOLIDWORKS supported editions: Windows 1o Pro (64 bit only) and Windows 10 Enterprise (64 bit only). For SOLIDWORKS 2015, service pack 5 will allow for use in Windows 10. This is for all SOLIDWORKS products, in all languages (wow!)
• SOLIDWORKS 2016 Beta 2 and SOLIDWORKS PDM Beta 3 will include Beta level support for Windows 10. Windows 32 bit is not supported, nor will earlier versions of SOLIDWORKS (2014 and earlier) be supported for Windows 10.
